Crash into Spring

April at a glance:

  • Cal Crutchlow Exclusive Interview
  • Traffic up by 36%
  • Singapore Grand Prix in exclusive Crash.net background take-over
  • Crash Media Group Press Release Management system success
  • Le Mans - round the clock coverage

With the race season now under way things are moving along rapidly at Crash.net towers. We hope you have been tuning in for all the latest news and gossip.

It sure has been an interesting start to the year on all fronts - cars and bikes alike. Lewis Hamilton put the cat amongst the pigeons with his tyre squealing antics whilst in Australia. Thanks to Victoria roads minister Tim Pallas, Crash.net got to run a head line with an expletive - that was definitely a first for the site, but perhaps not for Mr Pallas.

Cal Crutchlow Exclusive Interview

We were also contacted by World Supersport Champion now World Superbike star, Cal Crutchlow who wanted to quash those rumours that he is arrogant. He gave an exclusive and direct interview explaining what he had meant by his comments and why he believes he isn't arrogant. There is a fine line in motorsport between arrogance and confidence, Cal is treading that carefully. No matter what your take is on the young Coventry rider the interview got everyone talking and had 126 comments from readers.

Continued traffic growth on Crash.net, visits up 36%

Once again traffic is up on Crash.net with the following figures to show for the month of March. We think you will agree it is an impressive amount of viewers.

  • Visitors +36.23% year on year increase
  • Page views +23.59% year on year increase
  • Absolute Unique Visitors +30.77% year on year increase

Singapore Grand Prix in exclusive Crash.net background take-over

There is a new look to the Crash.net home page thanks to a background take-over by the Singapore Grand Prix. The whole area is fully clickable and will take you directly to the Singapore Grand Prix site. This is just one of many marketing tools available via Crash.net and has proved very effective for our clients.

Crash Media Group Press Release Management system success

We are currently rolling out our Press Release Management system which is extremely easy to use and a fraction of the cost of the competition. We have several new happy customers on board one of which is Harley Stephens of Holeshot PR - Pirelli UK's PR agent.

Stephens said: "We have found the crash.net PR services easy to use on event, stable and most importantly effective in getting the message through existing blocking devices. The layout is clear and concise so journalists can easily access imagery and text while the support from Crash in setting up this system has been second to none."

Le Mans - round the clock coverage to ensure you get the news first

And finally, we will be going large on Le Mans coverage. Our Editor will be in attendance along with our dedicated Journalists who will be working round the clock to ensure you get the news first.

It's shaping up to be quite a season so say tuned to Crash.net.
